Dr. Wisch grew up in Baltimore, MD. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in 1987, where he majored in psychology. He received his doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Boston College in 1997, after working for several years in residential treatment and mental health crisis assessment in Massachusetts. After completing a pre-doctoral internship at the Washington D.C. Veterans Affairs Medical Center and post-doctoral training at Catholic University, he served as the Director of Psychology at the Augusta Mental Health Institute in Augusta, ME from 1999-2004. Dr. Wisch has been in private practice since 2004. He conducts forensic evaluations for courts and attorneys throughout Maine, and also performs risk assessments and diagnostic evaluations for schools, state agencies, and other mental health agencies.
